Skyview Law Attorney Spotlight: Cyrus Kotenai

Cyrus was raised in Houston, Texas, and started his academic journey at the University of Houston, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Supply Chain Management. He furthered his education by obtaining a Juris Doctorate from the esteemed University of Houston Law Center. During his time in law school, Cyrus honed his skills through participation in mock trial competitions and received the prestigious CALI Award for excellence in legal research and writing.

Before joining our firm, Cyrus gained invaluable experience working with three Fortune-50 oil and gas companies, where he successfully negotiated multi-million-dollar contracts. He further developed his litigation skills as a summer associate at Foley & Lardner and contributed to the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, assisting in the criminal prosecution of domestic violence and child sex abuse cases. Cyrus also worked in the labor and employment division at Lone Star College and practiced family law in the Tri-Cities at other firms.

Cyrus is an active member of the Washington State Bar Association, the Family Law Section of the Washington State Bar Association, and the Benton-Franklin Bar Association.

Outside of his legal practice, Cyrus enjoys a range of adventurous activities including hiking, biking, white water rafting, snowboarding, skydiving, and traveling.
